I had lasek treatment to both eyes on the same day (right eye was a minus 7.5!). Went home, went to bed and woke next day with no pain. I followed the recovery regime to the letter and never had any real problems.
After around 10 days I could see well enough to return to work.
I have since, at the offer of Optimax, had my right eye re-treated for slight long sightedness. This is getting better as I write.
With lasek it does take some weeks (or even months for your final result to develop so be a patient patient.
Although I now wear reading glasses (well I am 48!), I now have almost forgotten what it was like to wear specs in everyday use.
Aftercare has been excellent and at no time have I felt like any costs have been cut or that I have been short changed in any way.
This treatment is a leap of faith for correcting your vision (when you fill in the consent form - you will find this out!) but I have had a second treatment and have only good woods to say about Optimax.
